Palma is the main city on Mallorca. La Seu Cathedral and the merchants' hall Llotja de Palma lie by the waterfront, the art museum Es Baluard on the western edge of the old town, and Bellver Castle in the woods above the city.
The beaches Playa de Palma and Cala Major lie on either side of the city, and the aquarium out along the coast towards the airport.
