About BookHonest

BookHonest is an online travel agency for hotel stays and other places to stay, from apartments to hostels. You search for a place and your dates, you see the rooms the hotel offers, and you book and pay here. The contract for the stay itself is made between you and the hotel. We arrange it, and we are responsible for the booking going through correctly, for the confirmation reaching you, and for what we tell you being accurate.

We sell one hotel stay at a time, not flights, not transport, not packages. Places to stay all over the world, with everything described as it is: the beds, the pool, the distance, from the data the hotel provides.

The site has an AI assistant, the butler, at the bottom right of every page. The butler can explain how booking, pricing and cancellation work here, and can start a real search for you. The butler is labelled as AI, has no hotel data in the conversation and never names a hotel, a price or a free room. Those numbers come from the search itself.

• The price you see is the price you pay. Taxes and fees are already in it, and nothing is added at payment.
• Where a hotel reports that something is collected at the property, for example a city tax or a deposit, it is stated on the hotel page before you book, in the hotel's own words and with the source stated.
• Every rate states whether it can be cancelled, and until when. The deadline is stated in GMT.
• One price for everyone. No member discounts, no bait offers, no price that only applies in the app.
• No countdown timers, scarcity counters or fake sold-out screens. If a room is there, it is there.
• Every place is described from the data the hotel provides, never with a claim we cannot source.
• We write no reviews ourselves, and we do not pay for reviews.
• You can cancel yourself. The link in your confirmation email works without logging in, and if the stay can still be cancelled, the amount you get back is shown before you confirm.

If something we told you did not hold, we put it right. That is what the whole business rests on.

BookHonest is a personally owned business registered in Denmark, CVR 45847683 in the Danish Central Business Register. It was founded on 2 September 2025 by Jakob Sanderhoff, who runs it. It sells from Denmark to guests everywhere, in English at bookhonest.com and in Danish at bookhonest.com/da.
